Alternatieve behandeling: triclabendazol 10 mg/kg eenmalig met vette maaltijd. Triclabendazol is verkrijgbaar bij de Veterinaire apotheek, Utrecht.
Veiligheid van praziquantel tijdens zwangerschap en bij kinderen <4 jaar onvoldoende onderzocht.
