General comments
NB 1 de therapieduur van albendazol is onduidelijk. Geen randomized clinical trial beschikbaar. Expert opinion is dat 28 dagen mogelijk beter is dan 21 dagen.
NB 2 behandeling niet altijd voldoende effectief
NB 3 eventueel antihistaminica of steroiden toevoegen bij oculaire, cerebrale of viscerale locatie van de wormlarven.
Albendazol tijdens zwangerschap alleen op strikte indicatie gebruiken.
