General comments
Ooglidhygiëne staat centraal in de behandeling. Dit kan met warme kompressen en poetsen van de ooglidranden met wattenstokje en (verdunde) babyshampoo. Vaak is ter ondersteuning van de behandeling tevens topicale antimicrobiële therapie noodzakelijk.
