General comments
Alleen antibiotische behandeling bij verminderde weerstand of comorbiditeit. Bronchitis bij exacerbatie COPD: zie apart hoofdstuk
Acute bronchitis is vaak viraal. Antibiotica bij voorkeur alleen geven bij onvoldoende herstel na een ziekteduur van tenminste 5 dgn. In 2e lijn voor start therapie zo mogelijk sputum afnemen.
